I cried 4 times today. The 1st came after a dream and 4 hours of sleep. Not a big crier except when Sis. Bloody Mary Wilson is in town, so we can say she’s partially the blame. That’s a record considering no one transitioned and no one's bald-headed son is stressing me out! Ha, those days are looong gone! Some things break you down and you learn the hard way. The long way. But it was necessary because you learned it YOUR way.
With Christmas being one my favorite holidays, I love seeing Christmas lights, and everything decorated from the bushes to the trees. Laughing & creating more memories while eating every piece of cookie in sight.
The day after Christmas, we gathered in our purple to see The Color Purple and honey, Ms. Fantasia Barrino played the hell out of her role as Celie! Truthfully, they all did! But it was Tasia's anointed, gospel-sangin' vocals on I'm Here that had the 3rd set of tears falling. The movie had doses of comedy from Suge Avery played by Ms. Taraji P. Henson & a few surprise features- go see it if you can!
